SUBMISSIONS


The Pacific Eye Magazine welcomes all submissions of artwork, poems, stories (fiction/nonfiction), reviews of movies and/or books, interviews, articles, and essays.

This is your chance to get your voice out to our global Pacific Islander communities so submit your work now!

Submission Guidelines

1. You must include your name, age, city/state/zip, and email address with every submission.

2. Your published pieces should have a minimum of 700 words and a maximum of 2,500 words.

3. Any work you submit may be published in any of Pacific Eye Magazine's bimonthly issues.

4. Be sure to include a title for all work submitted

5. There are no deadlines for article submissions. We accept submissions all year long. If, however, you are sending work that is holiday-specific, please try to get it in at least a month before the holiday.

6. Request anonymity. If due to the very personal nature of a piece you don't want your name published, we will respect your request, but you still must include name and address information.

7. Writing may be edited and we reserve the right to publish our edited version without your prior approval. We may not print your name on sensitive personal articles and in rare cases we may change names to protect individuals' identities.

You will receive a confirmation email from us as soon as we receive your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us after a week of submitting your article, please resubmit your article.
