• No flooding in the chat room
• Do not type in all caps - it means you are shouting
• Don't Engage in racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs, disruptive behavior of any kind including statements that pushes others to violate the rules.
• Do not use excessive colors, bold letters, or ASCII characters
• Do Not engage in sexually-explicit chat or nicknames that would generally be considered offensive in a public place.
• No stalking or harrassment of other chatters.
• Do not use profanity or vulgar language.
• Be in control of your script, if it is annoying to the room, please turn it off
• Please respect other users ( Respect others as how you want others to respect you )
• Do not advertise links, events, products, services.
• Do not spam or flood the channel with repeated statements or questions
• Remember we are all entitled to our opinions, yours is just as valid as anyone else.
• The PT Forum rules apply to the Chat room as well. By entering the PT Chat room you agree to abide by those rules.
• Recommend users be at least 18 years of age ( 17 and under = Parents Supervision )

Safety: Dont write extremely personal information from your "personal profile". . do not give out last name, street address, phone number, employer's name, passwords or credit card information.

Breaking one of these rules may lead to being kicked out of the room. Repeatedly breaking a rule will lead to being banned, either temporarily or permanently. We also use scripts that may kick or ban you for cussing, flooding, cloning, or using all caps.

We have several friendly channel Operators (a.k.a. "Ops") that come to the channel on a regular basis. Operators have the letter M next to their name. They monitor the chat and enforce the channel rules. They help teach chatters about the channel rules, IRC commands, and visit the channel regularly. Feel free to ask the Ops and VOps for help anytime.

Chat Moderators are not there to baby-sit users. They will eject and ban users whom they feel have broken any of our rules. Do not expect a warning before ejection - break the rules and you risk being ejected.
