Please know that the people we highlight here on PT do it as a courtesy to the community. Whether you agree or disagree with them we ask that in making comments please refrain from personal attacks and name calling. Please keep the comments directed at the topic and not discuss the person’s life, family, upbringing, etc.

To provide more credibility to your comments we are requiring that you put your real name(full) when you make comments. It is only fair because the people highlighted and interviewed here on PT include their real name and photo with their opinions. I think you should require every users to use their true full name. I think that would help to keep order in this website. Already I am seeing a lots of post that are very inappropriate to be posted here.

Comments on your policy “Comments without your full name will not be approved”.

This policy will stiffle the honest interaction and sharing of opinions. Understanding our relatively small Tongan community, where everyone knows everyone, the fear of being misunderstood and retaliated against is a real risk; so much so as to refrain from the needed dialogue.

The website administrator should regulate, as you are already doing, to insure decency, truthfulness, balance, and etc.

    TONGA NEED MATURE LEADER.
Let give some idea and sharing the opinion about what happened in Tonga last month. It a sad situation we reach out small beautiful Island of Tonga too.
When we look to the idea of define the situation it look like a childish solution we have.If the leaders not find a applicable solution to the present situation. It so sad.It not mean you been in the goverment for long time then you mature to do some thing for the nation. It not means you are grown old then you are mature. It nothing relate to it.If you are not wise your desicion you are not worth to lead the people.
The riot took place last month it call a “SHOW MANY HAND WITH NO BRAIN”.The time of crisis it a time to show your QUALITY OF YOU LEADERSHIP and also your MATURITY as man the people of the land put their TRUST on you.If it not happened then it is not the right time for Tonga to move to the next ERA of the civilazation. Because we are not yet ready to handle all the shaking of the transition. Only small thing you need to work on it. Put the law of the land straight and let every Tongan hang on it.From the King to noble, people representative and so on.The everything it is done. Then we move on.
That what happened to the trasition of the nation of Singapore. The first Prime-Minister of Singapore lead the Nation. The first one he put in JAIL the DEPUTY Prime-Minister.It show His maturity of his leadership.Where in Singapore now?.It small like Tonga but it run and fight in the haveyweight event of the world. Why it is leadership are so mature.Because all are hang on the law of the land.None of anyone above the LAW.All under the law. We can look to an Example. In Singapore if they get you with a Drugs. They are not waste time of negotiation.they hang on you neck the price you deserve to died. Then they Shoot you.finished.It is their LAW.
I am talk in general.Look at all the leadership people we look at in Tonga. What prinicle they want to present to the people of the land?.What the Value they try to birth out of all what they try to do?.What they try to see in Democrat it so sad they have short VISION.We need to look to the both side of the coin and then we move. The democarat it is good in one side and it WORST of WORST in one side.I am give you one example…They make it legal for man to marriage with man in church. They make it legal to do abortion.Imagine you are the one Abort you are not long make noise around.
Hope we can thing before we move on to the next level. If the LAw are straight we visit all the big big shot in HUATOLITOLI……………..I love to hear of your view.I might be wrong. But i am sorry for the fruit we going to past to the next generation.
    Faka’apa’apa atu
