Tongan trio take-on tough challenge at World swimming champs


Three Australian-based Tongan swimmers Ifalemi Sau-Paea, Irene Prescott and Charissa Panuve have competed in the FINA World Championships International Swimming Federation in Barcelona, Spain, which ended yesterday after of two-weeks of competition.The three gained confidence and experience from competing against some of the world’s best swimmers.23 year old, Ifalemi Sau-Paea participated in two events. He was ranked 48th out of 78 swimmers in the 50 metre Butterfly 25.17 seconds and 43rd out 58 participants in the 100 metre butterfly 56.32 seconds.
