A change of faith has steeled Israel Folau ahead of the immense challenges awaiting him in the 2012 AFL season.
via Folau content after ditching Mormonism.
Good on him. Tongan people are easily misled and do not take the time to do some research into the Mormon cult. If they knew that their original texts has said that they were the fruit of Satan, they would not join such a cult. The bible is INFALLIBLE, and it states that anything added to it is not from God. Infallible is defined as having no room for mistakes. God specifically decided on the 66 books which make up the Bible. So if anyone adds to this, they are misleading and offering false doctrine. God does not make mistakes, and had plan time in eternity. If you can understand this, then you would be at peace. However, as a believer, I must love, so I will continue to love my mormon friends, but will not stop to speak the truth. Mormonism is about attractiveness (outward appearance), the Bible emphazises on the inner appearance, which only God can see. Come as you are the Bible states, but clearly if you are not presented well, you can not go on a mission. Quit promoting the outward appearance and come as you are, drunk, drugged out, fornicating, lusting, whatever, God takes anyone…
I respect anyone who converts to any faith, including Folau. I disagree with his approach of belittling what is sacred to ones faith. The Islam faith has the Koran, Jews have Torah, Christianity has the bible and Mormon has the bible and the book of mormon. From the Koran and Torah I loved Abraham and what he did to perpetuate the everlasting covenant. In the bible, I learned Gods will and his new covenant and in the book of mormon I learned how to draw nearer to God. Mr. Folau think otherwise and he has his agency to choose according to the dictate of his conscience. I wish him well…in all I wish he did more research to his hate toward Masonry which led to his dislike of mormonism. He was unable to separate the two…I do respect the Masonry movement over the ages, for they were the keeper and mover of Christianity for thousands of years. Without them where would Christianity be today…There is a time and season…and I’m proud to be a Mormon.
The only reason why someone who has been a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints turn away again from it is he or she has become weak in the faith. There are lots of moral values that’s required to be kept. There is no time for folau to serve God he’s been too famous and lost it besides he has lots of dinero and ditch the faith. He hides behind the fact that he’s not worthy and immoral. Good luck with your new life Folau just don’t say negative about the church for you and I both the truth.
